Director of Business Development
Nationally prominent 100-person firm headquartered in New York City is seeking a Director of Business Development. The candidate must have significant experience in the A/E design industry. He/She will work with the firm’s partners to develop business development strategies in existing and new sectors. With the primary emphasis on seeking new opportunities for the firm, the candidate must be able to interface with prospective clients on behalf of the firm’s partnership. Knowledge of and connections in the design industry is essential.
The position also involves the leadership of the firm’s marketing and graphics team. The candidate must be able to manage, collaborate and communicate within a deadline driven environment. Developing the firm’s marketing plan and overseeing the firm’s marketing efforts will require the candidate to have strong writing and editing abilities.
In addition, the candidate will coordinate the firm’s PR and communications efforts. Knowledge of public relations opportunities within the design industry is important.
