About Town
Through 12.31.14: “Michael Graves” at Studio Vendome (330 Spring Street) presents multifaceted work of the architect, developed during his 50-year career. 60 of his works will be on display, including paintings and drawings he made while in Italy as a Rome fellow.
Opening 10.15.14: “Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao’s New York: Assembled Realities,” at the Museum of the City of New York, is a retrospective of photographs spanning 10 years that showcase the diversity of New York City’s five boroughs. Liao creates large-scale panoramas by combining multiple exposures of the same location taken over the course of several hours. The resulting composites are often hyper-real views that no single individual could capture.
