On Monday, 03.06.17, at the Center for Architecture, the Jury of the 2017 AIANY Design Awards named Honor and Merit winners spanning the categories of Architecture, Interiors, Projects, and Urban Design. In total, there were 35 winning projects (see above slideshow) including the much lauded Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center at Columbia University, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Gensler and SCAPE, which collectively took home Best in Show as well as an Architecture Honor Award.
