“Reviewing Renewal” at the Queens Museum

“596 Acres” presents all of the urban renewal plans the city has ever adopted in an intervention directly on the Panorama of the City of New York at the Queens Museum. The project realizes the online Urban Reviewer map on the 1:1200 scale of the 9,335-square-foot Panorama. The exhibition asks: What can we learn from the continuing story of urban renewal in NYC? Talks, readings, discussions, and film showings will take place every Sunday.
